RORC Caribbean 600

Race | Antigua | February 22-28, 2020 | Skipper: CSM | Boat: Challenger

The C600 is one of a series of 600 Nm races organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club. It has all the technicalities and demands a top pro needs but as we are never more than 50 Nm offshore so any beginner can join & excel.

This race is perhaps the jewel in the crown of the Caribbean racing season. The 600 is another RORC organised event so we immediately know a few things about it. Firstly, it is going to be well run & professional and secondly, it is going to attract some pretty heavyweight campaigns.

The race is a rare bird- twisting and turning its way through the islands, 600 Nm that take you through every point of sail and every sail combo. Although only a 3 – 3 1/2 day event for our boats the Caribbean 600 represents a real shakedown that demands the crew work hard and smart if they want to get a good result.

The RORC 600 is one of those regatta t-shirts every serious sailor is thinking to one day throw in the bottom of the closet. Spartan can give you that experience on a boat that makes the best of whatever conditions prevail.
